K-Drama & Film
Production support.

K-drama is now a global production category, with platforms like Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV+ funding Korean series at scale and international co-productions becoming routine. We support drama and film productions on the ground in Korea — primarily as fixer and local producer for incoming international productions, secondarily as production company on smaller original work.

Why Korea for drama and film

The industry is at peak output. Korean drama production volume hit record levels in 2024-2025 across streamers and broadcasters, with budgets for tentpole series rivaling US prestige TV. Crew depth, post infrastructure, and location variety match the volume.

Cost-effectiveness without quality compromise. Korean production costs are notably lower than US or European equivalents for comparable quality. This is a major reason international productions choose Korea for parts of their shoot.

Distinctive visual identity. Korea offers locations and aesthetics that aren't available elsewhere — traditional hanok villages, hyper-modern cityscapes, coastal islands, DMZ-adjacent landscapes — within a few hours of Seoul.

What we support

Scope note
We're not positioned as a primary producer on tentpole Netflix drama series — those are handled by Korea's large established production houses (Studio Dragon, SLL, AStory). What we do well is operate as the local producer/fixer arm for international productions, or as the production company for smaller-scale narrative and documentary work.

FAQ

Can you handle multi-day or multi-week schedules?
Yes. Drama and film work usually means longer schedules — we build crews and budgets accordingly. Up to several weeks is normal; longer engagements possible with planning.
Do you work with foreign DPs and directors?
Yes. Often the director and DP fly in with the production; we provide the rest of the crew, locations, equipment, casting support, and on-the-ground execution.
What about KOFIC incentive programs?
Korea offers several film commission incentives for international productions. We can advise on eligibility and coordinate applications, though final eligibility depends on the specifics.
Can you scout locations before we commit?
Yes — paid scouting trips with photo packages and feasibility notes are a standard pre-production service.
